THEATRE FOR ABBEY WOOD & THAMESMEAD
Hello and welcome!
We are The Ruined Theatre Company, created to bring professional theatre to Abbey Wood & Thamesmead.
Along with producing top-quality shows we work with local residents in a number of programmes, to bring communities together and offer first-hand involvement in the arts. This includes our outreach programme with local schools, mentorship opportunities and our work Peabody to make theatre accessible for everyone.

How did Peter first get to Neverland? How did Hook get his hook? And can Tinkerbell teach Peter to fly in time for his greatest battle yet?
We invite you to join us in the mystical and dangerous world of Neverland for the untold story of the boy who never grew up.
When Peter first lands in Neverland he finds himself onboard the Jolly Roger with a power hungry pirate Captain and his crew. During a battle Peter is thrown overboard and finds himself lost and alone. With the help of the fairies, Neverland creatures and the lost boys he is now faced with his biggest challenge of all, finding home, but first… Can he save Neverland?
With puppetry and music The Ruined Theatre flies you to Neverland for a magical story of self belief, friendship and what it means to find home. This new play is suitable for the whole family, with or without children. We recommend this play for over 5's but children of all ages are welcome at our relaxed performances.
Grab your picnic blankets & sense of adventure for an outdoor theatre experience in the ancient ruins.
Whilst visiting Lesnes Abbey why not make a day of it and explore the other hidden gems the site has to offer such as, fossil hunting in the fossil bed, the adventure park and the beautiful ancient woodlands.
